Self-Service Pickup & Return

After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with:

• Booking details
• Secure driver's licence verification link

Verify your licence before your hire.

Approximately 1 hour before your scheduled hire, you'll receive a reminder email for your rental with a View Booking Details button.

The email also includes:

• Your pickup location
• Gate access codes or automatic gate-open links (where your location has them)

You can also view your booking anytime in My Account.

Arrive at your selected JD Trailer Hire pickup location. If your location has a gate, enter using the gate code or automatic gate link from your reminder email.

1. Press View Booking Details in your reminder email to begin the pickup process.
2. Add any trailer condition comments and take the requested photos.
3. Once complete, your trailer lockbox code is revealed.
4. Use the code to open the lockbox and remove the key.
5. Remove the coupling lock and unlock the trailer.

Connect the trailer to your vehicle and complete your safety checks before towing.

• Hitch the trailer and secure the coupling.
• Attach the safety chains.
• Connect the trailer plug and test all lights.
• Connect the EB2 Brake Controller, if required.
• Raise and secure the jockey wheel.

Return the trailer to the same pickup location before your hire ends.

Before finishing your hire:

• Roll up and secure any straps.
• Leave the trailer clean, tidy, and in the same condition it was collected.
• Return the key to the secure key box.
• Lock the key box securely.
• Open Return Booking from your booking email or My Account.
• Upload the requested return photos.
• Leave a comment if you noticed any new damage or issues during your hire.
• Submit the return checklist to complete your hire.
